Black Bottle is the perfect place to to go with a group when everyone wants to try something different. Their tapas style menu, which spans multiple cuisines, is a great way for everyone to have a little bite of everything. Certain items on the menu, however, don't feel cohesive. In addition, while tapas is of course known for being served in smaller portions, many of the dishes feel overpriced in comparison to the quantity served. Service was friendly but in a busy Sunday night there appeared to be only one server for the entire restaurant. Maybe someone was running late or we simply didn't see another waiter but, as attentive as our server tried to be, she seemed to be stretched very thin. We'll come back, but I'd love to see some improvements to either the portion sizes or the prices.

My order was prosciutto flatbread. The flatbread was moist and it has creamy texture underneath the cheese. I asked for chili pepper flasks, adding little kick. Kelfte Lamb mezze plate with extra side of flatbread. The hummus was creamy, but not as much flavor. The lamb meatballs were okay, it is on the dry side. It is good with tzatziki. My coworker ordered fish taco, it was recommended over pulled pork tacos. The good portion is medium range, if you are hungry you might need to order two dishes. I have a bite of the short ribs. This dish does take longer than other dishes. It was tender, but it was in salty side for me. Our waiter was good. He was friendly and put up with our group. The restaurant atmosphere was pleasant. Drinks were also good. Our hostess was not very friendly. We felt she was rude. She took our menu and left us with two menus for group of people who have not ordered yet. Her attitude did not help. We don't know her name but our dinner was on Saturday 6/1. But don't want to give the restaurant a bad review based on her.

The location is across from the Hyatt hotel in downtown Bellevue. It doesn't have any immediate parking, but the Hyatt hotel does and so does the Bellevue metropolitan area. In general parking here is free with validation. The atmosphere inside is a casual pub vibe. Even the hostess was in jeans, a cheap baggy hoodie and sneakers. I was almost out off at first, but seeing all the waiters in old baggy jeans it grew on me. It was warmly lit and the service was really good. The menu is mostly drinks and is a full bar with a cocktail menu also. The food is just a brief list of smaller plates to share, but includes vegetarian options and gluten free options. The menu is priced above average, but isn't as expensive as other locations in the area. Plating is beautiful and casual and the drinks are presented well. Everything overall tasted good. The pork tacos were great and so was the crab dip. The other items were just ok. Like for the me dough for the pizza didn't feel like a pizza.

I would recommend Black Bottle for: 1. the service, truly nice and professional team greeting us as we came in and checking in on us regularly. 2. the cocktails. The bartenders make the BEST espresso martini in town! We tried a few other mixed drinks, also very tasty. Food was okay, nothing unique compared to other menus in the area, a little underwhelming but decent.

This was my first time at the black bottle in Bellevue. I loved it! It had a very similar vibe to the one downtown but a bit of a bigger open space. I had the basil ginger cocktail - which is my go to! So delicious. Fresh, sweet and a little fiery - the perfect combo. There were four of us and we shared a tonne of dishes! I'd say the highlight for me were the prawns. They had a little kick to them - they also provided the deep fried portion on a separate plate so there was no gluten. The service was great, super efficient and lovely servers. Love black bottle and will definitely come back.

Double date night with friends and our first time to Black Bottle. Right off the bat they had me with the 2010's playlist going. While N'SYNC was going in the background we happily shared a sampling of their menu. The stand out by far and away is the fish tacos. I've had my fair share and these are possibly the best I've ever had. The citrus tang was it for me. We also enjoyed the prosciutto flatbread, blasted broccoli, baby gems salad, fried chicken, and bread pudding for dessert. They made the Sunset Sonora into a mocktail and it was de-lish! Server was top notch and so friendly. Also love the straightforward recommendations. Space is cozy and appropriately lit and warm woods. Sets the perfect scene.
